Windup Watch Fair Returns to NYC for Its 10th Anniversary Capstone Event

After a banner year with successful fairs in Dallas, San Francisco, and Chicago, the Windup Watch Fair is returning home to New York City for the final stop of its 10th anniversary tour. From Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th, we’ll once again take over Center415 in Midtown Manhattan for what promises to be our biggest and best Windup yet. Here are the critical details:

Center415 on 5th Avenue

Friday, October 17: 12PM – 6PM
 Saturday, October 18: 12PM – 6PM
 Sunday, October 19: 12PM – 5PM

Free and open to the public
 No registration necessary

Last year, more than 10,000 enthusiasts came through the doors, and this year we’re expecting even more. Over 140 brands from around the world will be on hand, showcasing watches, gear, and everyday carry essentials. From fresh independents to established names, there will be something for every collector, enthusiast, and curious passerby to discover.

We’re thrilled to welcome back Bulova, Christopher Ward, Oris, and Shinola as returning Lead Sponsors—and equally excited to announce Bremont as the fifth Lead Sponsor, making their Windup debut. Other first timers to any Windup include MB & F’s M.A.D.Editions, Arken, Clemence, CIGA Design, and more.

Beyond the show floor, Windup NYC is expanding its experiences like never before. The EDC Expo presented by NOMATIC returns, spotlighting innovative everyday carry alongside the watch brands. Miyota joins as our first-ever Official Movement Sponsor, celebrating the mechanical heart inside so many of the timepieces on display. This year also brings an impressive G-SHOCK exhibit, plus a full slate of panels, live podcasts, product launches, and special preview hours (press can register in advance to gain early access). Enthusiasts can find special Windup-themed limited editions, take part in strap and bracelet changing, enjoy a drink at the bar, and enter our exciting giveaway adding even more surprise and delight to their weekend.

To keep up with the overwhelming interest, we’re expanding yet again—this time opening a new, fourth hall inside Center415. While the number of exhibiting brands will stay the same, the additional space allows us to spread out sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring a smoother flow and giving visitors more room to explore, shop, and connect. This will be critical as this here is an initial sampling of the brands presenting at this year’s 10th Anniversary celebratory edition of Windup.

As always, Windup NYC will be more than just a watch fair. Expect new watch announcements, surprise guests, and immersive experiences that go beyond the booth spaces. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast, just getting into watches, or simply looking for a unique cultural event in the city, Windup Watch Fair is the place to be.

What I Discovered on My Visit to The Aristo-Vollmer Factory I recently visited the Aristo Vollmer watch and bracelet manufacturer in the Black Forest town of Pforzheim. Aristo-Vollmer was founded 14 years ago as a merger of two well-known companies from the towns of Birkenfeld and Pforzheim. After three generations in the possession of the founding Epple family, the watch manufacturer Aristo Watch was sold in 1998 to Hansjörg Vollmer, a member of the founding family of watch bracelet manufacturer Vollmer, which has been associated with Aristo since 1927. Hansjörg Vollmer is a grandson of the founder of the metal bracelet manufactory Vollmer (Vollmer, Evvo, New Line), which was founded in 1922 and had maintained business relations with Aristo since 1927.  After World War II, the production of bracelets moved from Birkenfeld to Pforzheim where it is still located next to the Pforzheim train station.
