Join Us for the Launch of the Louis Erard x Worn & Wound Collaboration

We are excited to invite you to the official launch of our new collaboration with Louis Erard. This project has been in development for three years, and we are looking forward to finally sharing it with you in person.

The event will take place on Thursday, December 4, at our Brooklyn Showroom. It will be an evening focused on the watch, the people behind it and the story of how the collaboration came together. RSVP here.

– Location: The Windup Watch Shop Showroom – 540 President, Suite 1G, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Like all of our events, this one is about more than showing a new watch. It is a chance to connect with the community and get a clear look at how the project took shape from start to finish. Throughout the evening you will be able to:

– Get hands-on with the collaboration, so you can see the details, finishes and proportions up close.
– Hear how the design came together, including the decisions and problem-solving that shaped the final watch.
– Talk with the people behind the project, and learn what made this collaboration different from past releases.

Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. At 7:15 PM, we will host a live Q&A with Louis Erard CEO Manuel Emch. He will walk through the development process, explain Louis Erard’s role in modern watchmaking and share what makes this project unique within their lineup.

Hands-On: Breitling Top Time B01 Martini Racing The revival and resurgence of Breitling since 2017 has been a serious business. Led by CEO Georges Kern, the private equity-backed company has vaulted itself back into the top 10 Swiss brands by sales, refocusing around heavyweight names in its collection, most notably the Navitimer, Chronomat, and Superocean models. What I Discovered on My Visit to The Aristo-Vollmer Factory I recently visited the Aristo Vollmer watch and bracelet manufacturer in the Black Forest town of Pforzheim. Aristo-Vollmer was founded 14 years ago as a merger of two well-known companies from the towns of Birkenfeld and Pforzheim. After three generations in the possession of the founding Epple family, the watch manufacturer Aristo Watch was sold in 1998 to Hansjörg Vollmer, a member of the founding family of watch bracelet manufacturer Vollmer, which has been associated with Aristo since 1927. Hansjörg Vollmer is a grandson of the founder of the metal bracelet manufactory Vollmer (Vollmer, Evvo, New Line), which was founded in 1922 and had maintained business relations with Aristo since 1927.  After World War II, the production of bracelets moved from Birkenfeld to Pforzheim where it is still located next to the Pforzheim train station.
